bbp_find_mentions_pattern

Set the pattern used for matching usernames for mentions.

Description

(string) apply_filters( 'bbp_find_mentions_pattern', (string) $a_za_z0_9_b ); 

Moved into its own function to allow filtering of the regex pattern anywhere mentions might be used.

Returns (string)

Pattern to match usernames with

Parameters (1)

0. $a_za_z0_9_b (string) => '/[@]+([A-Za-z0-9-_\.@]+)\b/'
The za z0 9 b.

Usage

To run the hook, copy the example below.
  1. $a_za_z0_9_b = apply_filters( 'bbp_find_mentions_pattern', $a_za_z0_9_b ); 
  2.  
  3. if ( !empty( $a_za_z0_9_b ) ) { 
  4.  
  5. // everything has led up to this point...

The following example is for adding a hook callback.
  1. // define the bbp_find_mentions_pattern callback
