run_wptexturize

Filters whether to skip running wptexturize().

Description

apply_filters( 'run_wptexturize', (bool) $run_texturize ); 

Passing false to the filter will effectively short-circuit wptexturize(). returning the original text passed to the function instead.

The filter runs only once, the first time wptexturize() is called.

Parameters (1)

0. $run_texturize (bool)
Whether to short-circuit wptexturize().

Usage

To run the hook, copy the example below.
  1. $run_texturize = apply_filters( 'run_wptexturize', $run_texturize ); 
  2.  
  3. if ( !empty( $run_texturize ) ) { 
  4.  
  5. // everything has led up to this point... 
  6.  
  7.  
The following example is for adding a hook callback.
  1. // define the run_wptexturize callback 
  2. function filter_run_wptexturize( $run_texturize ) {

To remove a hook callback, use the example below.
