edit_term_<field>

Filters a term field to edit before it is sanitized.

Description

apply_filters( 'edit_term_<field>', (mixed) $value, (int) $term_id, (string) $taxonomy ); 

The dynamic portion(s) of the filter name, $field,, refers to the term field.

Parameters (3)

0. $value (mixed)
Value of the term field.
1. $term_id (int)
The term id.
2. $taxonomy (string)
Taxonomy slug.

Usage

To run the hook, copy the example below.
  1. $value = apply_filters( 'edit_term_{$field}', $value, $term_id, $taxonomy );
