edit_<taxonomy>_<field>

Filters the taxonomy field to edit before it is sanitized.

Description

apply_filters( 'edit_<taxonomy>_<field>', (mixed) $value, (int) $term_id ); 

The dynamic portions of the filter name, $taxonomy and $field,, refer to the taxonomy slug and taxonomy field, respectively.

Parameters (2)

0. $value (mixed)
Value of the taxonomy field to edit.
1. $term_id (int)
The term id.

Usage

To run the hook, copy the example below.
  1. $value = apply_filters( 'edit_{$taxonomy}_{$field}', $value, $term_id ); 
  2.  
  3. if ( !empty( $value ) ) {

The following example is for adding a hook callback.
